Frombork is a beautiful, small town in northern Poland, on the Vistula Lagoon. It is a former residence of the astronomer Nicolas Copernicus, who lived and worked here as a canon. Here the great astronomer spent the most creative part of his life and wrote his epochal work, De revolutionibus orbium cœlestium. Short after the publication, in 1543 Copernicus died and was buried in Cathedral Tower. But Frombork is a popular tourist destination not only as a city of Copernicus, but also due to mysterious unique architecture of Cathedral Hill and over 700 -year-old monuments such as fisherman tower, parish church and the unique Water Tower.

Water Tower was built on foundations of one of the pillars of Milestone Gate. Inside the tower was a Walenty Hendel’s mechanism to draw the water. The Tower was supplying Cathedral Hill, Bishop Palace and canons’ houses in water. The Water Tower in Frombork is an example of medieval hydro-engineering. Today from the summit of the Tower you can see the Vistula Spit, Lagoon and Kaliningrad Oblast. And downstairs we can drink a cup of coffee and eat a delicious cake in a cozy café.

Malbork is a town in northern Poland in the Żuławy. The city was founded in the 13th century. Today the town is noted for the Gothic Marienburg Castle, one of the best preserved fortification in Europe. The castle and its museum are listed as UNESCO's World Heritage Sites. Every summer on the castle held cyclic events, such as reconstructions of the greatest battles.

Krynica Morska is one of the smallest towns in Poland, situated on Vistula Spit, surrounded by Baltic Sea from the north, and Vistula Lagoon from the south. The town is covered by pine-beech forest. It is known from unusual climate and aureate beaches. As an additional attraction we recommend cruises from Frombork.

Ostróda-Elbląg Channel is considered to be one of the most spectacular attractions in Poland. The main part of the Channel is 80,5 km length and it joins Drużno lake near Elbląg and Piniewo lake. The greatest technical problem was the 100 meter difference in water levels between the lakes. The solution was to build water-locks and five sloping shipways. The ships are going through the shipways on special carriages.
